What We Never Collect: Camera, microphone, precise GPS location, contacts, messages, call history, photos, files, browsing history, IP address (not stored), or any biometric identifiers.
Motion Data: Aggregated and anonymized motion batches are used to build training datasets for AI and robotics research. Individual sensor readings are processed server-side and stored as statistical summaries. No data is shared in a form traceable to your device, identity, or wallet.
Wallet Address: Used solely to track your contribution records, calculate HIX allocations in the alpha ledger, and process referral bonuses. Your wallet address is never included in any dataset sold or shared with third parties.
Fraud Prevention: Sensor data patterns are analyzed to detect automated, fabricated, or low-quality submissions. This protects the integrity of the dataset and the fairness of the reward system.
Service Improvement: Aggregate usage statistics (not tied to individual users) help us understand which tasks generate the most valuable data and improve the platform.
Anonymized Motion Datasets: We sell and license aggregated, anonymized motion datasets to AI and robotics companies. These datasets contain statistical summaries of movement patterns. They cannot be reverse-engineered to identify individual users, wallet addresses, or devices.
Infrastructure Providers: Your data is processed on Supabase (database) and Netlify (hosting) infrastructure. Both are SOC 2 compliant cloud providers. Their privacy policies govern their handling of data on their systems.
We Do Not Sell: Wallet addresses, referral relationships, or any data that could identify an individual user. Ever.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by valid legal process, law enforcement request, or court order. We will attempt to notify you where legally permitted.
All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Database access is secured with role-based access controls and API key authentication. Our backend uses service-role keys (never exposed to the frontend) for all write operations. The Supabase anon key in the frontend is limited to read-only operations on public data.
No security system is 100% impenetrable. You use the Service at your own risk. In the event of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify affected users via the email or contact information we have on file.
Motion batch records and rewards ledger entries are retained indefinitely as they form the foundation of our research datasets. Profile records are retained as long as your wallet has activity.
You may request deletion of your wallet address from our active database (see Section 7). We cannot guarantee removal from anonymized datasets that have already been processed, exported, or shared โ the anonymization process is one-way and individual records cannot be extracted from aggregate datasets.
We use localStorage to store your wallet address and session statistics on your device. This data never leaves your device independently. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings or by clicking "Disconnect" in the app. We do not use cookies or cross-site tracking.
The Service is for users 18 years of age or older only. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will delete the associated records.
By using the Service, you consent to the processing of your data in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under GDPR. Contact us to exercise GDPR rights.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced on the platform. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
